Open Inventor Objects

This directory contains a number of models in Open Inventor format.  A
number of these were created by Silicon Graphics and subsequently
placed into the Public Domain.

Where possible, the files stored here have been converted from IRIS
Inventor (1.0) to Open Inventor (2.0) format. They are provided in
BINARY format to save storage space and bandwidth (so you should use
binary mode to ftp them). Objects which use textures have been converted
so that the texture maps are held inline within the object, as opposed
to stored in an external RGB file.

Some of the Inventor models are copyright, but are deemed okay to 
distribute as long as the copyright notice appears. Therefore, here are
the copyright notices (they also appear within the relevant objects)
